In principle, the jack load measurement is the determination of the reaction forces in shaft bearings. We perform these measurements with the use of hydraulic equipment, a load cell and a digital dial indicator connected to a laptop with jack load software installed on it. With the use of the load cell the accuracy of the measurements is significantly higher than when using a hydraulic jack and calculating the effective area.
