Vibration and noise reducing resilient mounts are commonly used nowadays. For instance, on passenger vessels it is essential that noise and vibrations penetrating the passenger areas and cabins is reduced to an absolute minimum. Where noise and vibrations are less of an issue, or where extreme outputs and torques are generated, more traditional cocking solutions such as steel chocks, adjustable steel chocks or epoxy resin chocks can be used.
